Kittens
We breed a limited number of litters a year, we have a life outside the cat fancy, and breeding is just a hobby (abet a passion) for us. We also do have some retired show cats or breeders, and some special needs cats, available for good homes periodically (inquire as to pricing and availability) . I charge almost what it costs me to raise a kitten. Yes there are many Back Yard Breeders who charge considerable less, and you get what you pay for in Health, Personality and the Quality of the kitten you are getting.
We are not desperate to let them go. All of our kittens are sold NEUTERED or SPAYED, with a limited general health guarantee and an 18 month HCM heart health guarantee! IT IS our POLICY that all pets are to be neutered or spayed prior to placement! It had been like that ever since we started, and this will remain as such until I retire from breeding.
WE DO NOT let our cats go to homes that WE DON'T know. For example, some one that refuses to introduce yourself ~ even upon request. We would like to know if you have owned a pet or Sphynx before, if you currently have pets. Your family status IE Pets Children and if you are in a permanent home style life. I particularly would like to know why you chose to bring a Sphynx cat into your life. We keep a close relationship with our pets' owners and constantly getting updates about our cats! We also ask if you have the means to keep your cat healthy through-out his/her life. IE; High quality/high protein food, vaccinations, routine teeth cleaning and veterinary visits. We also request people scan their Sphynx (for HCM) at least once after placement (more frequently if there is a need) and that we are kept informed of their health. We are not here to be breeding Pets for money making, they are part of our family.
If for any reason you cannot keep the cat or kitten you received from us, I reserve first right of refusal to re-home. This includes your getting said cat or kitten back to my possession. This is in the legal contract you sign. I have been known to take maters up with local authorities for those who do not adhere to the agreements set forth.
WE also DO NOT let go kittens at 2 Months, or 3 months please don't bother to try asking, most of our cats are only ready to go at 4-5 Months old! Reason being they have to be neutered or spayed before leaving with all shots and worming's, and are well adjusted.
NOW, if you are still interested in obtaining a wonderful Sphynx from us, see photos in the “Available” tab or please email and ask what may be available soon or request to be placed on a waiting list. We do ask for a non refundable $300 deposit to hold your kitten.
